Single/Double Axis Array Mount - 1250 Watt

I would love to see 4-5 of these in someone's back yard. It is reasonable easy to fabricate. Some welding and machining. The machining part is on the short tube about which rotation occurs. And consists of machining in a raceway for a set of ball bearings, on either end. Yes, making a bearing. The SS ball bearings are available from McMasterr-Carr. The structure is robust enough to withstand wind loading.

The CAD views below have been revised to add mechanical stiffness to the linkage load path. In a windstorm, recently, the prototype vibrated / fluttered.

The difference between the 2 CAD models is that the second one has a manually adjusted linkage. Mechanical deawings ate in the "Drawings " section. In both, a 4 in 1 microinverter from Hoymiles is employed.
